Mission of Publication

In responding to the three-year preschool education plan and to create a qualified preschool public service system of preschool education, the magazine of Guiding to Children’s Education in Renmin University of China, the organization committee of China Children’s Education Summit Forum, Beijing Normal University Publishing Group, and Beijing Nanbei Exhibition Co., Ltd. Cooperated to create the most professional platform, “Expert Forum of Children’s Education”, for the development of children’s education, and promoted a series of lectures with a target to discover how high-quality kindergartens are created. More publications and DVD will come out with lectures covering the management of kindergartens, the programming of curriculum, legal counselling, protection and conservation, collaboration between parents and kindergartens and the psychological health of children to contribute to the development of kindergartens and help accelerate the overall advancement of Chinese preschool education.

Brief introduction to the expert

Zhang Meiling: A famous expert on the development of children’s cognitive thinking and logical abilities. Professor Zhang graduated from the school of Education in East China Normal University, and is the researcher of the institute of Psychology in Chinese Academy of Sciences, a Ph.D.supervisor, the director of primary education research center of the institute of Psychology in Chinese Academy of Sciences, and also an expert who is awarded with allowance from the Council of China. Professor Zhang and her research team was awarded with the first prize of Technological advancement of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1989, and won the fist Double-Achievement prize in Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2004, Professor Zhang was awarded with the first Zhu Zhixian Psychology prize. Professor Zhang has published nearly thirty academic essays on renowned academic magazines and has written more than two hundred scientific articles. In the past two decades, Professor Zhang gave more than two thousand expert lectures for the education field and was highly dignified in the field.

Content of the guidebook to kindergartens

As one of the series of lectures to discover how high-quality kindergartens are created, “Enjoying kindergartens: the development of Cognitive thinking abilities of preschool children” aims to direct the programming of curriculum, and will help children study with enjoyment and think in enjoyment. The content has five aspects and 5DVDs. The detailed content is listed below.

The first guidebook to kindergartens in China, “Enjoying kindergartens: the development of Cognitive thinking abilities of preschool children” is published by Beijing Normal University Publishing Group (Publication number: ISBN 978-7-88016-982-9) and designed by Beijing Nanbei Exhibition Co., Ltd.and the magazine of Guiding to Children’s Education in Renmin University of China. The guidebook is published for the principles of kindergarten in the whole nation, the people in contact in the departments of children’s education, the representatives of education institutes, etc. The retail price for each guidebook (with 5DVDs) is 300RMB.
